Since the beginning of time, humans have consumed natural resources to sustain life...

Nomadic people pursued herds of animals to sustain their food source, and foraged for edible vegetation otherwise. People would use grasses and mud to build shelters, and would use wood for construction.Through the advancement of both time and society, dependence on such has become less and less, to the point where the majority of people do not hunt or fish. However, for some, the outdoors has become a way of life again. The connection to nature forms and shapes the soul into that of a sportsman.

Our Mission

At Jake's Tails, Tales, and Tips, our mission is inform and educate - if you're willing to learn, I'm willing to teach. I strive to spread the culture of the outdoors through information, education, and real-time experiences.

Only the mountain has lived long enough to listen objectively to the howl of a wolf...
